Video: UConn Huskies Football Saw A Better Triple Option From Navy

Heading into the preparation for the BYU game this Friday night, you can bet your last dollar that the UConn Huskies football team will be very happy not to have to see a triple option attack anymore.

The UConn Huskies did a pretty good job against the Army Black Knights triple-option attack. But as I had said on Saturday, the Navy Midshipmen were a totally different animal.

After watching Navy QB Keenan Reynolds carve up the UConn Huskies early on, you could see what experience in the triple-option system does in making it almost perfect.

After the 28-18 loss to Navy, UConn Huskies head coach Bob Diaco, LB Junior Joseph, LB Matt Walsh, and S Andrew Adams talked about the differences between the Army and Navy triple-option attacks.
