One of the big things that UConn Huskies football coach Bob Diaco wasn’t happy about and said needs to improve is the teams’ self-control.
He wasn’t pleased with all the jaw-jacking that went on with the Villanova Wildcats players in the season opening win. While not naming anyone by name, you could tell he wasn’t happy with the two penalties from RB Ron Johnson and DE Folorunso Fatukasi.
Those two penalties almost cost the UConn Huskies the game and going forward things like that won’t be tolerated and are not indicative of what Diaco is trying to accomplish as far as the culture around the football program.
