A redshirt senior captain isn’t supposed to do something stupid. He’s expected to be a leader. Instead, it was UConn Huskies redshirt senior captain Andrew Adams penalty that cost them any chance of a comeback.
Leading 20-13, the BYU Cougars took advantage of Adams’ unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for kicking the ball into the stands to increase their lead to 27-13 on their way to a 30-13 win over the UConn Huskies at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Friday night.
The UConn Huskies fall to 2-3 while the BYU Cougars improve to 3-2.
